While in LA, I had the opportunity to visit the interiors of the Walt Disney Concert Hall, designed by Frank Gehry. It’s open to the public on most days between 10 am and 2 pm. All you need to do is register at the entrance.
The exteriors of the concert hall are stunning, and the interiors did not disappoint. The 2nd and 3rd levels are my favorites places to shoot, with a good combination of shapes, materials, and colors.
I played with volumes on the Garden level (3rd), using the different shapes in my images.
The staircase is one of the most interesting parts. I captured it from above, then from below.
The whole Pre-Concert Area is very interesting, with a lot of wood and intriguing shapes.
If you’re visiting LA, take the time to go inside the Walt Disney Concert Hall. It’s free, and worth the visit!
