One of the reasons I wanted to visit the Boston Museum of Fine Arts is because the Art of the Americas wing was designed by Foster + Partners. As you can see above, the modern wing is quite a departure from the classical architecture of the museum.
I like the materials used by the architect and the transition from the stone of the older building to the glass of the new building.
I tried to photograph how the different volumes interact with each other and with the older building.
